When I heard about the the Great Cloth Diaper Change, I thought this would be a wonderful event to partake in. I did a quick search of my area and found that there is a host very close to where we live! Hosted by Bean Tree Baby, the event will start at 10am and go until 12pm. Here is what Bean Tree Baby's Facebook event site has to say:
*The Great Cloth Diaper Change event is FREE to attend!
*Arrive between 10-10:30am to sign in. The change MUST happen at exactly 11am, so please arrive no later than 10:30am to give time to sign the photo release (Guinness requires photo evidence of the event) and get your entrance ticket.
*Each participant (age 18 or older) must be paired with one child 39 inches or shorter. If you have multiple children in diapers, you may not change more than one child yourself so bring along another adult for each child.
*Each child must be changed into a fully reusable cloth diaper that is available to purchase online, in person at a brick & mortar store, or is offered through a diaper service. It does not matter what kind of diaper the child is changed out of.
*We will be utilizing the Family Wellness Center and the Common Room within the Community Health Center building for the GCDC event. The outside entrance doors to both rooms is marked by orange wording "Family Wellness Center" and is accessed off of the smaller parking lot on the corner of Lafayette St. and Washington St. If you need help finding your way, just go into the main CHC building and ask them to point you towards the Family Wellness Center room.
Alright, now on to the fun part... We'll have goodie bags for the first 25 people through the door and free Great Cloth Diaper Change tote bags for the first 50 people through the door! And everyone who comes will be entered into a drawing for some awesome prizes! If you are planning on attending, please RSVP by "Joining" here and share this event with anyone you know who may be interested! We hope you can make it!"I am very excited! I plan to take photos and blog about the event once it has happened.
